Our brand was established in 1992, since then our mission has remained the same: to bring life, color and unique knit garments to your wardrobe.'

The family business created by Csillag Zsuzsanna turned into an ever growing knitwear paradise.
The Hungarian brand’s collections are defined by unique Süel colors, yarns, patterns, fringes, braids and by their success in exploring all the creative potential of knitwear. To this day, continuing the tradition their main focus remains on knit garments but the designs are keeping up with the bohemian and modern trends, allowing the more extreme and newer styles to lead their collections.
‘Our mission is to change the public perception of knitwear through our designs, to shift the idea of knitwear being a thing of the past, boring even to a more modern understanding of this technique, and to show how trendy it really is. Our collections include everything that you can dream of, the only two boundaries being yarn and your imagination. For this reason we offer a wide variety of garments, from wool ponchos for wintertime, through our magical cotton pieces for spring and including the best summer knit lace beach cover ups you can find, so you have anything and everything that’s knit in one place at Süel. We even provide tips and tricks of how to best style our designs and a new capsule collection awaits you in our stores every month.’

What Does Stella McCartney Have to do with Süel? – A Salon – Budapest
Maria Vanyovszki Basically nothing, but why are we using this dramatic title anyway? Stella McCartney is one of the internationally well-known designers, who is constantly standing out for the improvement of eco consciousness in fashion industry. The brand has been declared to be vegetarian, as the designer does NOT use leather, fur or feather and has set high standards of using alternative materials.

- Our materials range from lightweight yarns for the summer to 100% wool ones for winter.
- A wide variety of knit lace.
- One piece can fit up to 3 traditional sizes.
- Unique styles designed in Hungary.
- Manufactured in Budapest, Hungary.
- Basics – easily incorporated into a capsule wardrobe. Clean silhouettes, versatile styles that never go out of style.
- Limited – the reimagination of our favorite basics. Special and unique color mixes to elevate our pieces, numerous colorways so every color type can find one that complements their look.
- Premium – our most special, natural fibers that haven’t been dyed, 100% Merino wool and 100% cotton. Comfortable knit luxury.
- All wool pieces must only be washed on wool programs!
- Non-wool pieces must be washed at 30 °C settings, on 800 frequency spinning!
- Dry them all horizontally to avoid stretching them out! DO NOT dry them on radiators, mobile heaters or any other direct heat sources!
- When storing them avoid hangers, store them carefully folded on shelves!
- Use your preferred type moth repellent method!
- The brand’s goal is to create a welcoming, diverse and supporting community for women. For this reason, all our campaigns feature strong, inspiring and real superwomen.

- – in 2022 the income from the HOPE sleeves supported the work of the Budapest Bike Maffia charity organisation.
- – We have an ongoing collaboration with the NANE association, we have organized our 9th charity fair.

- -90% of all our products are knit to form, so there is no tailoring waste.
- -Our zero waste (WHOLEGARMENT) pieces are knit in one piece, avoiding any waste.
- -We organize Trash or treasure fairs for unique pieces that we create from prototypes of different parts etc.
- -At the Süel Sell-and-buy fairs we offer an opportunity for our customers to sell their loved Süel pieces that are in a great condition
but they are not worn anymore.
